Service outage: General service outage

We have been alerted to a failed device on our network over the weekend.

The failure of this device means certain services will not work until it is repaired.
The issue started at 15:00 on 25/07/2020.

Certain services will have stopped working at this time such as certain VPNs, SMTP, DNS and other services.
We are looking to resolve this as soon as possible.

We are currently investigating this outage.  Further updates will be provided in due course.

    Good afternoon,

    Glide engineers have established the cause of the failure and are continuing to work on bringing back up affected services with customers without resilience being prioritised. Further updates to follow

    We are aware that services are still affected by this outage including our SMTP relay. Dedicated engineers are still currently working on a fix to restore all services affected by this outage.

    We are aware that SMTP relay issues should now be resolved. We are continuing to work on any residual issues.

    We are now seeing restoration of services affected by this outage.
    We are still investigating to ensure no issues remain however the majority of major services will now be available.
